ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Judith C. Moore, is an advocate of issues that affect women of color and has dedicated over 29 years of her life striving to make a difference. She has served in many capacities: Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church for 13 years, Domestic Violence volunteer, Convener of Black Women Roundtable, Pittsburgh/Mon Valley, Founder of Sisters Saving Ourselves, Now, and recipient of many community awards.

Her life motto: Never too Busy to Help a Sister

Education: BA Elementary Education, Clark University in Atlanta, Ga

Graduate study: American University

MDiv/DMin from Pittsburgh Theological University, Pittsburgh, PA

Judith believes that at any age it’s never too late to dream and to pursue goals.

Judith dreams to establish a national signature summit for Single moms that will increase the quality of their lives and the lives of their children.

She also is pursuing her dream as an entrepreneur and beginning her own Speaker Bureau.
